Who knew Subaru produced such street smart machines that actually compete with the other big Japanese players? Here’s a well rounded look from several credible perspectives on the upcoming Subaru WRX for 2015.
When Subaru released details about the new WRX, some thought that it had become too focused on the street. Well don’t worry, it can still go off-road. A video just released by Subaru shows the new WRX on the sort of terrain that has made hot Subarus a legend in the motoring world.
Literally, the very moment that the fourth-generation Subaru Impreza debuted at the 2011 New York Auto Show, enthusiasts have been clamouring for the next WRX. At the same time, we’ve been hoping and praying that Subaru wouldn’t ruin the next-generation of the beloved rally-bred ride in the process with something silly like a CVT. While the growl is the main reason for watching the clip below (you should do that now), Subaru has also thrown in some information about the improved suspension, and increased power. Learn along with us…
UPDATE: Below you’ll find two images that purport to be leaked shots of the full car, from the front and rear. While they may just be creative renderings, they do adhere closely to the details of the one official teaser image. Judge for yourself.
